Description

Genpact Experience (formerly Rightpoint) is seeking a senior delivery and engineering leader to drive outcomes across its Technology Practices. This role will lead end-to-end delivery across Digital Experience Platforms, cloud-native and mobile experiences, and Modern Workplace solutions, while accelerating the adoption of AI-assisted engineering and agentic workflows across the software lifecycle. The leader will partner with client executives and cross-functional Genpact teams to deliver measurable business impact—faster time-to-value, higher quality, improved productivity, and scalable engineering operating models.

What You'll Do

• Lead React Native development projects or major workstreams and coordinate developers towards shared delivery goals.
• Own the mobile development approach, coding standards, branching strategy, review practices and definition of done.
• Design scalable application architecture, component boundaries, navigation, state management, data access and native integration patterns.
• Remain hands-on with implementation, code review, complex defect resolution and performance optimisation.
• Guide integration of REST or GraphQL services, authentication, analytics, push notifications, deep links, payments and third-party SDKs.
• Own build, signing, provisioning and release readiness for iOS and Android.
• Lead application distribution and production releases through Apple App Store, App Store Connect, TestFlight, Google Play Console and Google Play tracks.
• Coordinate CI/CD automation, environment configuration, quality gates, versioning and release rollback or remediation planning.
• Vet team estimates, verify that technical approaches are sound, and ensure plans include adequate testing, security and risk mitigation.
• Identify technical or delivery risks early, propose options and escalate quickly when required.
• Mentor developers through design reviews, pairing, code reviews and structured technical guidance.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for clients and cross-functional stakeholders, translating needs into clear recommendations and delivery plans.
• Contribute as a React Native subject-matter expert to discovery, scoping, proposals and internal practice initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

React Native & Architecture

• 5+ years of progressive mobile development experience with a proven record of leading React Native delivery.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, React Native internals, hooks, rendering behaviour and platform-specific implementation.
• Experience designing modular, testable and maintainable mobile architectures using patterns such as Clean Architecture, MVVM or feature modularisation.
• Advanced knowledge of React Navigation, state management such as Redux Toolkit, asynchronous data flows, caching and offline strategies.
• Experience with React Native new architecture concepts, including Hermes, JSI, TurboModules and Fabric, where applicable.
• Ability to evaluate libraries, define upgrade strategies and manage compatibility, dependency and technical-debt risks.

Native Platforms & Integrations

• Strong working knowledge of iOS and Android application lifecycles, permissions, background execution and platform constraints.
• Hands-on ability with Xcode, Android Studio, Swift or Objective-C, and Kotlin or Java for native modules and platform-level troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating authentication, secure storage, deep links, universal links or app links, push notifications, analytics, payments and third-party SDKs.
• Strong knowledge of performance profiling, memory and network optimisation, accessibility and mobile security practices.

Store Distribution & Release Management - Must Have

• Proven hands-on experience distributing production applications to Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Proficiency with App Store Connect, TestFlight, Google Play Console, internal or closed testing tracks and production rollout management.
• Experience with certificates, provisioning profiles, signing identities, keystores, bundle identifiers, package names, entitlements and store metadata.
• Ability to manage versioning, staged or phased releases, store review feedback, compliance requirements, rejected submissions and urgent release fixes.
• Experience automating builds and store submissions through CI/CD, Fastlane or comparable mobile release tooling.

Engineering Leadership & Delivery

• Proven ability to lead a group of developers, coordinate work, uphold engineering standards and take accountability for team output.
• Experience validating estimates, planning technical delivery and ensuring adequate automated testing and risk mitigation.
• Strong unit, integration and end-to-end testing practices using Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox or comparable tools.
• Ability to lead technical conversations with clients and communicate decisions, trade-offs, risks and recommendations clearly.
• Experience in Agile delivery, Git-based workflows, pull-request governance and release management.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Expo and Expo Application Services (EAS), including build, update or submission workflows.
• Experience with native iOS or Android architecture beyond React Native integration needs.
• Experience with Firebase, observability, crash reporting and production telemetry platforms.
• Knowledge of mobile commerce, subscriptions, StoreKit, Play Billing, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
• Experience contributing to technical discovery, estimation, proposals or mobile practice development.
